When Shrestha Productions started work on their banner’s first Hindi romantic film ‘Cousin Isha’, they considered the names of many actors in search of an actor for the lead role. Ultimately Vikrant Rai was selected.

Vikrant Rai needs no introduction. 38-year-old Vikrant Rai, originally a resident of Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, started his acting career with the TV serial “Kavyanjali”. After that, she created her own identity by acting in serials like ‘Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan’, ‘Maika’ and ‘Do Sau Crore Ki Bottle Mein’. After this, Vikrant Rai got the opportunity to act for the first time in 2015 in the film “Yuva” directed by Jasvir V Bhatti with actors like Om Puri, Rajit Kapoor, and Parikshit Sahani. After this, in 2016, he was seen in the film ‘Bhauri’ with Masha Paur, Aditya Pancholi and Raghuveer Yadav. Now he is going to be seen in ‘Cousin Isha’, the first film of Vaibhav Verma directed Shrestha Production.

Cousin Isha director Vaibhav Verma has been involved in the art department in the past with Hindi films like “Secret Superstar”, “Bala” and Rajma Chawal. Not only this, Vaibhav Verma has earlier directed the ‘cop thriller’ film Tatkshana.
